On a sunny winter day in February we traveled about an hour-and-a-half north of New York City to visit the New Croton Dam:
In late February, we visited the New Croton Dam as part of our semester-long study of the New and Old Croton Aqueducts. Water rushes over the dam’s spillway several ways, and there was a lot of snow and ice on the dam as well. Keep an eye out for the rainbow!
